"Yeah, that's the point of things like dates." He knows, he'll put the effort in. "Anyway it's abnormal to start. But a good thing's still a good thing."
"But what do you mean, starting or asking?" With Jekyll?
Paloma fidgets, reddening the longer he holds her for. What insane turn of events led this to happen? He's right about another bit. Trying to date two brothers simultaneously is certainly irregular, abnormal, you name it.
"Starting to go with two people and, and umm, everyone okay with... that," she finishes lamely. "But you remember this is a first, too?"
"Harry won't mind. You can ask his opinion when he comes back. But obviously it's a first, hell, I haven't dated two people at once." This is gonna get weird, he's gonna make it weird. Slowly but surely. For now though, he lifts her hand to kiss her fingers.
And what nice timing for the older brother to return.
Returning to his twin pulling smooth moves and his date the color of mulberries, neither looking particularly upset or devious.
Weirder, she catches sight of Jekyll and doesn't snatch her limbs back to herself. She bites her lip, smiling cautiously up to him. "I, umm, have a question, but it can wait for the car?"
"Oh?" Well, he's confused. It's the opposite of what he expected. But he has their emails boxed up and ready to go, so he nods and leads the way. "Certainly. I'm glad you seem to be getting along?" Should he be worried??
They haven't strictly invited Edward along, but she implies it by glancing imploringly over her shoulder at him.
Leaving on Henry's arm lends the illusion of a ladyship, helping keep her spine straight. The wait for the valet means all three get to stand together in awkwardness.
"Yeah, somehow," she laughs painfully... and quails. "Well, I think he has a question!"
"Me? It's your question!" He huffs, but... "...I came 'cause I wanna make this a thing. Like...trio...or whatever." Ugh now he's put on the spot and doesn't know how to word it.
"...Okay? You want to do things with us?"
"No dumbass, i mean like, dating!"
All Jekyll can really do is blink, until he realises an answer is expected of him. "Oh-- oh. Ah, well, as long as Paloma is okay with it, of course. Or rather, as long as she wants it." He looks to her. Did Edward coerce her or is she actually interested?
What? Legitimately, that's all it takes to put the idea out there for approval? She stares between the two of them, appalled at her cowardice and blown away by the ease with which Jekyll agreed to share. Or try sharing. Is it a trap? No, can't be.
"I could, I could give it a try." She presses closer to his side in a bid to warm up, shuddering in the evening chill. Her shawl was an awful idea. This also lets her whisper to Jekyll: "I felt bad for him and it's worth trying, isn't it?"
Jekyll is glad to be her shawl! It's a very nice excuse to get close. "You felt bad for him?" His brother, Edward??? "If you want to, then, well, alright. I have to admit it feels a bit...odd, being Teddy, mainly, but..." But that's actually almost entirely because he knows it should be weird and bad. But they're kind of codependent so it's really not so uncomfortable.
"Yeah," she exclaims, relieved to hear doubts from him. Perversely, it makes the circumstances appear saner. Everyone happily agreeing to an unorthodox trio by any standard would feel like an alternate reality. "Everything's odd to me. Dating anyone is... not my norm. I'll learn as I go no matter what!" Her giggle is high and strained.
Just in time for their car to arrive, driven by a twenty-something handsome young lady.
"Well, we have that in common." He gives her a smile, before going around to take the keys from the valet - but Hyde gets there first and snatches them up.
"I'm driving." Let off a little steam from that personal moment earlier. Which means driving really fucking fast, dangerously.
Paloma is uncertain why the declaration fills her with apprehension, and then Hyde burns rubber.
"AH!" Shrilly squawking, she latches onto Jekyll's arm and the head of the driver's seat. No cab in Mexico City ever scared the shit out of her like this ride through London proper. Every lurch and squeal shows her another forgotten memory. Is that her whole life flashing?
Nope, he's got the music on full blast, no way he's slowing down now. All he does is laugh and laugh, time of his life, especially hearing Jekyll screeching to be careful. "No way! Where are we headed, home?"
"Nope!" He just goes on laughing even with the nipple slap.
"Edward! Teddy! Please!!!" Jekyll's almost crying as he clutches the seat in front of him. They're going to crash. Luckily eventually they screech to a halt in a parking lot. "... Thank God."
She puffs up indignantly like one of the many London pigeons roosting across the city. What's he implying, then!
"Other side of the road, go half as fast as you were, yup!" Flushed and eager to get them safely on their way, she knocks on the hood more adamantly. "Up."
Hope Jekyll realizes this is what they've gotten themselves into, saying they're amenable to a polyamorous something-or-other. Hyde can't yank on poor Paloma in the heels she's wearing and think it will end in grace.
She goes low, sure. She also flops across the steering wheel, crushing her tit into the horn and startling them all with the ensuing honk. "Ow ow ow ow ow-- Edward, ow!" Face down, ass up, that's the way we like to fuck up.
Jekyll can't quite see from his seat, but he does try to lean around the seat in front to get a view. "What are you doing to her--" oh, a compromising position. Should he look away.....
Hyde meanwhile, grins at her. "Oh, I thought you wanted to drive, road head sounds much better."
No, he shouldn't look away! He should get his brother under control!!
Having slid sideways into the offending twin's lap, Paloma twists around like an irritated cat onto her back. One elbow braces on the dash; the other digs into Hyde's gut. "I love your sense of humor," she bites out.
It feels like a real kiss, this time. He tastes like wine and faintly of his last cigarette. Not bad-- but he hasn't gotten her in the mood for nice kisses.
"What about him?" she demands crossly, pushing to sit upright on the very edge of his leg. Her dress is all out of sorts, too! A miracle it's not having a malfunction. "Did you pull over just for this?"
"You know it." He just looks so pleased with himself. Especially with her sitting in his lap.
"Edward...Can we go?" He's only just agreed to this, it's a little weird to hear his brother kissing his new girlfriend on their first date so soon. "Paloma?" Anyone???

She smashes her nose into the seat, leaning too far forward and paying the price. "Ow ow..."
Paloma scrabbles around for the handle and staggers out, cussing him under her breath. Rapping his window:
"Out! Thank you!!"

"Do you know how to drive over here?" His grin is easy and simple joy.
