It's entirely unrelated, there's no Eva tongue salad or baked Maria with apples, the wine is just wine, pie is blueberry with whipped cream. A harmless fête on Rokkenjima. Well, alright, there are witches and demons among the guests, but that's hardly anything new, is it? It shouldn't be. All the human guests have accepted magic by now, right? Either way they should be grateful. The goat headed butlers taking care of everything means no one has to lift a finger themselves or worry at all. Even the servants - even Natsuhi. Everyone needs a chance to relax and enjoy now and then, especially after such high tensions of late. It's something of a reward for all involved, and maybe even those who come from other worlds, strange how that works. Do help anyone who might seem a bit confused.
The great hall is set up with tasteful decorations, flowers, mostly, with a grand centrepiece. Music plays from nowhere in particular. Reluctantly there is a table for food and drink, four of them arranged in a square in a corner of the room. But food tables are tacky, it's so much better, so much more elegant for the servers to carry trays and offer hors d'oeuvres and champagne as they pass. But the Ushiromiyas really have no class, so they can have their banquet table. For the rest, there's the waiters. The food they carry might be a bit suspicious at times, but these are meant for the magical guests with different tastes than humans. Pay it no mind.
Even the parlour is dressed to the nines, and offers a quiet spot to get away from the noise of the main party. Tea is served there to go with the calm and quiet, best enjoyed over a game of chess or cards. Every room is open, the library might be a nice place to visit, or how about snooping around in someone's bedroom? What does Krauss keep in there, now is the time to find out, check out his tapes. The garden is always an option, just don't stray into the woods, you know how the story goes (there's wolves, of course). And be careful not to cross one of those butlers, they are still pretty scary, they just might bite. Asking them for anything is probably useless too, they don't have much by way of brains.
Who the party is put on by, exactly, well, who can say, but the assumption is likely the witch, although that might not be correct. What does it matter anyway? You're not dead, that's good enough.
