Drawers on a balcony! At least he’s organized in this regard.

Paloma takes just as long to get ready as Jekyll’s blind ass does, but it’s because she’s forgotten the shirt he’d fetched for her to borrow. She could just walk inside for another, and for a moment the idea receives due consideration.

The thing is, she’s got this feeling it will come off no matter what. So, breathing in, the dress rolls up past her head and drops in a puddle of fabric. Discarding it leaves her very naked... and the tub not even on. Stupid! She sets about looking for the right dial while pretending not to notice her bare bottom sticking out.

Jekyll has the decency to cover his chub with a swimsuit, Hyde not so much. But it's Jekyll who first notices Paloma going in nude. "--Would you like to take my shirt!" Panic!

The other one is just content to stare at her rump.

The night is freezing, the tub water isn’t hot enough to sit in, and she shivers helplessly. Honestly, she thinks, staring at Hyde’s loud and proud dick, even if it does come off sooner than later...

“Yeah!” Donning it brings them all closer together, literally. His shirt hangs long and covers all pertinent bits for now. Shyness dominates her averted gaze. “Shouldn’t have charged out here, it’s freezing!”

"Maybe you could check the temperature, Teddy?" Jekyll doesn't see what's going on down below, but he does see the awkward position Hyde's put them in. Distract him for a minute. Hyde reluctantly does so, leaving them to themselves for a little while.

"Yeah Should be good."

In the reprieve she loops her wrists behind Jekyll’s neck, smiling goofily. He’s much too handsome. Dreamy, she’s thought in the past. Well before he got her number at the gallery exhibition and before he proved to be as sweet as he let on.

“Edward knows, but leaving you behind is going to be just... rotten. I feel spoiled, getting to look at you.” And her chest aches madly.

"To look at me?" He laughs, shy. "I should think you have it backwards." He's pretty sure he's the lucky one getting to look at her. Not that he can make her out too well right now.

"I'm going to miss you an awful lot too." More difficult for him to get away to visit than it is for Hyde, too...

Informing Jekyll of his charming accent seems such a stereotyped, American thing to do that she shoos the impulse away. In its stead her lips find his clavicle to kiss him there, dry but warm and lingering.

“We’ve barely had a week. It’s not fair.” A child’s protest, but with her whole heart in defiance of an unjust turn. “I haven’t seen your work, or met the other people in your life. I’ve met Edward’s band...”

She could have her pick of charming rp accents if that's what she likes! "If only your flight were later, I would gladly invite you to see in the morning... As it is, you've met the most important ones. I have plenty of acquaintances and associates, but few I would consider terribly close."

"Yeah he's got what, two friends?"

"-I have more than enough, thanks!"

Laying her cheek against him allows Paloma to frown sternly at his obnoxious twin. Bully!!

"I like how different you two are, even if people expect you to be the same."

They clearly couldn't be happier. Jekyll's a little more subtle about it, but Hyde beams in pride. "I think we've worked pretty hard at that... Although really we are almost the same, huh?" He leans over to give Hyde a small smile.

"Speak for yourself." Yeah, they are.
